Adoption
1.Finding the Right Puppy -
Once you have found a puppy from our AVAILABLE PUPPIES page, you need to confirm availability by emailing us at FurryTailsddap@Yahoo.com or you can call Beth at 715-255-9206. She can confirm availability and answer any questions you have about the puppy. If the puppy is available, we will send you our Puppy Adoption Application to fill out and return to us asap. We screen potential adopters to make sure that they will be able to provide a safe, responsible, and a loving home for our pet.
If you would like to come and see them in person, you still have to fill out the Puppy Adoption Application.
*NOTE: We reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone we feel unsure about without any explanation.
2. Once You've Been Approved -
You can secure a puppy by putting your nonrefundable deposit of $200.00 down to hold your dog/puppy as your very own until it is ready for you to pick it up or to be shipped. Deposits will go toward the price of the dog/puppy. Deposit is nonrefundable and can not be transferred to another puppy. We accept Pay Pal.
*PLEASE NOTE WE CAN NOT HOLD A PUPPY WITHOUT A DEPOSIT.
3. Deposit Information -
The deposit you place is for one particular puppy. The deposit is nonrefundable nor transferable. The deposit will not be moved to a different puppy nor refunded what so ever! Once you place a deposit on a pup we will remove the puppy from all ads and mark him/her as "SOLD" to you. Should you change your mind, it is not fair to us or to the families that saw the puppy as sold and chose a different puppy or none at all.
They come with an immediate 48 hour health guarantee. You should take your puppy to the vet of your choice within 48 hours to verify that it is free from diseases or congenital defects. Please note: Since most veterinarians’ offices are very busy and are not always open, it is wise to make an appointment for this initial examination prior to taking
possession of a puppy. The second health guarantee is a one year genetic / heredity guarantee.
Guarantees are for a replacement puppy, no refunds will be given.
4. Arranging to Get Your Puppy -
When puppies have matured, are totally weaned and ready to leave their litter, usually about 8-16 weeks of age, we can make arrangements for the puppy to go to it's new forever home with you!
You must then decide whether you will pick-up the puppy or have it shipped to you thru a major airport near you. If you are picking the puppy up in person we will make an appointment for a time and date that is convenient to all involved and we will send you detailed directions. If the puppy will be shipped, we take care of all the necessary arrangements with the major carriers servicing your area for your puppy's arrival. The puppy MUST BE PAID IN FULL prior to shipping.
6. Spaying and Neutering -
Spaying or Neutering is required with all of our puppies and is in our contract that you agree to do so. This will often save their life, we have received many phone calls where owners dogs have gotten lost or run over because they were trying to run away to breed!
So, we insist that they be fixed. We do not sell our dogs/puppies for breeding purposes what so ever. Our dogs/puppies are pet quality and are raised to be companion pets.
7. Additional Puppy Support -
We are available to answer any questions or provide support for your new puppy as he or she grows. You can call or email us anytime. And please keep us updated on your puppy’s progress, and any accomplishments they have had. Please don't forget to send pictures so we can add you to our FURRY TAILS GALLERY page! Finally, ENJOY your new little puppy.
